The Subclass 887 visa is a permanent residency (PR) visa for skilled workers who have already lived and worked in a designated regional area on an eligible provisional visa (such as 489, 495, 496, 475, 487, or 495). It does not require a points test or Skills Assessment at the PR stage.
You must have held an eligible regional provisional visa and lived for at least 2 years in a designated regional area, and worked full-time (minimum 35 hours per week) for at least 1 year in a regional area. Onshore applicants must also be physically in Australia when applying.
