The Subclass 100 visa is a permanent Partner Visa for individuals who are in a genuine and ongoing relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen. It is the second stage of the Partner Visa process, granted after the Subclass 309 or Subclass 820 visa.

To be eligible for the Subclass 100 visa, you must:

  • Be in a genuine and ongoing relationship with your sponsor (an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen).

To apply for Subclass 100, you must be invited to apply after holding your Subclass 309 or Subclass 820 visa for the required time. You will need to lodge your application online through the Department of Home Affairs’ ImmiAccount.

The Subclass 100 visa does not have a points requirement. It is based on your relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen, not points or skills assessment.

After submitting your application, the Department of Home Affairs will review it. You may be asked to provide additional documents or information. Once your application is processed and approved, you will be granted the Subclass 100 visa, allowing you to stay permanently in Australia.
